So, hearing Frodo cursing in a radio program kind of caught me off guard. Was I the only one who caught it? Or, did anyone else's ears kinda perk up when they heard what they thought they heard? Just curious. And, NO! I'm not nit picking. Which is sad, because it is one of the most beautiful musical soundtracks I've ever heard.

I was a student so I missed many episodes. I later bought the CD set and was finally able to listen to the whole series. My wife, who was unfamiliar with the books, loved it and later read the trilogy.
This is the definitive dramatization of the trilogy, barring none. Thank you sharing for this splendid edition in its entirety. This is pristine quality, including introductory parts not available on many releases, along with the bonus disc of original music from the BBC presentation.
Truly well done—the best version of the BBC LoTR dramatization available on archive, with no compression artifact. There is nothing in the series that is not in the book unlike the films Secondly, as it is audio only, it really lets you use your imagination in visualising characters and places, which is lost a little when things are presented on a screen.
